Why Own a Dog?

If you don't already own a dog, you should. For those that already have a pet you are already aware of the benefits of having a dog in the home. For those of you that don't have a dog read on to find out why you should.

There's nothing quite as exciting as bringing your new family member home. Whether you have adopted a stray or you have purchased a puppy it does not matter, both will provide you with unconditional love whether you are 1 or 100. Besides unconditional love there are plenty of other benefits of having a dog in the home.

Health is probably the topic that's most talked about these days. That's because studies have shown some remarkable data on pets and health such as a reduced risk of heart disease, heart attack, and stroke. 28% percent of people that are hospitalized for heart disease are still alive one year later, while only 6% of those that did not have a dog survived a full year.

I have a 2 year old 20.5 lbFlemish Giant who was in perfectly good health. Now he is going around the cage like he's tap dancing on all fours. He is also sitting in the corner with his head all the way back (looking straight up) He gets good food and clean water everyday, so I know that's not the problem.

I'm just trying to figure out the problem. Please help me help my Sarge boy!

    Thank you

I just got a half akita and half border collie puppy from the animal shelter and couldn't be more excited. I picked up car seat covers to help manage his messes in the car and also got some baby doors to help at home. I think it's helping with his training.

Hi, I have a Deaf 12 week old female Blue Heeler puppy named Phoebe, her mum passed when she was about 5 weeks old and was given to me when she was 6 weeks, whenever i go near her she is constantly attacking me, i know she is just playing but its gotten so much that we have to keep her outside all the time, even when i go outside to pat her she bites and wont stop, its like she goes into a frenzy, ive tried hand signals, angry faces, tones of voice, stomping on the floor to get her attention, pushing my hand back towards her when she bites, giving her a toy when shes biting me, even tapping her nose and putting up my hand up to try to teach her "No", me and my partner have scratch and bite marks everywhere, i dont like keeping her outside but i dont know what else to do, can you please help me??
