Great Collectable Pez Dispensers and Candy Bricks
Pez collectors everywhere will tell you that there is no such thing as an ordinary Pez candy dispenser, with over 550 unique Pez dispenser heads available allowing thousands of variations owning one of them is just never enough.
Then you are faced with the tough choice of which ones are the best to own or collect. Obviously I cannot list them all here, but the selection you will find should certainly cover one or two ideas that will suit your own individual taste.
If you are one of the thousands of seasoned Pez collectors you will be looking to add to your current collection and hopefully here is just the place that will enable you to do just that.
The Pez Dispenser Guide
Collecting Great Pez Dispensers Doesn't Have to Cost the Earth
Then in the 1970's three historical figures were used for to celebrate the Bicentennial, these were Paul Revere, Betsey Ross, and Daniel Boone. They were not exact copies, but instead generic lookalikes with accessories.
Then back in 2006 the Teutal family from the Orange County Choppers T.V series formed the first actual Pez dispenser facial replicas.
Elvis Presley had a set of three Pez dispensers dedicated to him that related to different stages throughout his life. These were released in 2007.
2008 saw the first of the Star Trek Pez Dispensers released in a gift set containing seven of the series crew members and the Starship Enterprise.
To honor the 70th anniversary of the Wizard of Oz Pez released a limited addition of only 300,000 dispensers depicting the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Man, the Scarecrow, Dorothy, Toto, Glinda, the Wizard of Oz, and the Wicked Witch of the West. This was in 2009.
Pez created a short stem version of the dispenser and 2010 saw the first of these released with Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs as the dispenser heads, but again this is a limited version with only 250,000 being created.
More recently in 2011 Pez have created Prince William and Kate Middleton dispensers for charity and are now also an exclusive addition to a Pez collectors list.
Followers of sport will be interested in the NASCAR dispensers that have the helmets of famous drivers as the cap.
Star Wars Pez is a big collectable as are any of the great Disney Pez characters.
Collecting Pez dispensers is not only great fun, but with an added bit of interest it can turn into a journey that has no ending. There are fan clubs, forums and believe it or not annual meetings that host great crowds for this fun sized candy brick phenomenon.
