Winterberry Dinnerware - A Beautiful And Durable Christmas Classic

Winterberry is Pfaltzgraff's most popular Christmas pattern.  There are over 250 pieces of sculpted stoneware, glassware, serving pieces and linens in the line, 70 of those are new this year.I have been collecting Christmas dinnerware for almost 20 years.  What I love about the Winterberry pattern from Pfaltzgraff is, besides the gorgeous pattern, the stoneware is extremely durable.  I can enjoy beautiful Christmas dinnerware every day, not just on the holiday.  And truth be told,  I use this set straight through February, afterall, winterberries are still in season.


Tips On How To Set A Beautiful Table With Winterberry Dinnerware

While I use my Winterberry set and serving pieces more casually on a daily basis, this is one set that can really dress up.

  • Start with a green tablecloth.
  • Next layer on special table runner.
  • Use red metallic charger plates.
  • Put the Winterberry dinner plate on top of the charger.

  • To lighten things up, put a glass plate (Pfaltzgraff makes coordinating glass pieces, I use my cranberry glass).
  • If you are having soup, a plain glass bowl looks gorgeous on top of the plates.
  • Add your best utensils, water goblet, and stemware.
  • For the napkins, I layer the winterberry napkins over dark green brocade napkins that match the tablecloth. A simple red with gold trim wire ribbon ties the napkins together.

    This is perfect for serving salad and other cool foods at Christmas. Really lightens up the table and reflects any candlelight.

    Pfaltzgraff stoneware can be used in the oven and microwave. It is dishwasher safe.
