Philip Winchester

Philip Winchester started his career at 14 when he got a role in "The Patriot". He has since been in a theater production with Sir Ian McKellen (King Lear) and other film and televison roles. Philip Winchester was on tv as a semi-regular on "Fringe" and in the mini-series "Alice". He has also been a guest star on "Warehouse 13" earlier in 2010. He was in a made-for-TV family movie, "A Walk in My Shoes," starring Nancy Travis, Philip Winchester and Yara Martinez on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010 at 8/7C on NBC. He was playing Leontes in the Starz original series "Camelot" which was on since April 1, 2011 on Starz. Last, but not least, he is on the series "Strike Back" on Cinemax.

Biography

Philip was born March 24, 1981. Philip C. Winchester graduated from Belgrade High School in Belgrade, Montana in 1999.

Winchester was first discovered when the television movie "The Patriot" was casting in his then home state of Montana. He won a supporting role in the movie at the age of 14. He later went on to train at the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. While in London he got into alchohol and drugs, but a religious epiphany caused him to clean up his act and live a more christian way of life.

Following his training Winchester moved on to star in several theatre productions as well as television and film roles.

Philip was hired as the lead of "Commando Nanny" but broke his foot. The role was then recast.

Winchester's film credits include "Thunderbirds" (2004) with Bill Paxton, "Flyboys" (2006) and "Shaking Dream Land" (2006).

Philip Winchester starred as the optimistic and resourceful Robinson Crusoe in NBC's show "Crusoe." He proposed to his girlfriend and high school sweetheart, Megan Coughlin, when they were on the Crusoe set. (Was engaged some time before 10-18-2008, and married around December 2008.)

Winchester can be seen in the films "King Lear", "Soloman Kane" and "In My Dreams."

In January 2009, Philip was cast in the Lifetime mini-series "Maneater". Winchester will play Clarissa's (played by Sarah Chalke) love interest Aaron, a wealthy and handsome single guy about to produce his first movie. He was also in the mini-series "Alice" and has a semi-regular role on "Fringe". (Frank Stanton).

He also is listed as "Leontes" on a new series called Camelot, which was on in April, 2011 on Starz.

He has been on the show "Strike Back" on Cinemax, playing the character Sgt. Michael Stonebridge.

    I first saw him in Crusoe which I loved and bought the dvd. So i`m looking out for more of his work. He is very goodlooking. Great body too.
