Giving a shout out to YELP.

Do you Yelp? Maybe you SHOULD.

Yelp

Being heavily involved in the internet marketing business, I have the unique advantage of observing first hand marketing methods that work for a business and comparing them vs. those that do not. Of all the marketing methods out there, Yelp happens to be one of the most effective. I often setup clients with a Yelp account and watch that account perform well. Of course, a Yelp account is no substitute for a properly designed Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization strategy - but it's a great add-on.

Embrace the QR!

If you don't know what this picture is, keep reading.

QR Codes

This image is called a QR code. QR codes are being increasingly used to tie the real world to the virtual. You may see a symbol like this on a sign, on a product label, on a piece of paper, on a home for sale sign, or as part of a banner. The next time you see one, take out your smartphone and see where it goes! If you're using an Android, open the Google Goggles application and take a picture of the QR Code. The code will provide additional information or link you to a website associated with where it's placed.

Very cool!

PC

DinaDLG says:

I've always had a PC. Way back when dinosaurs roamed the Earth and I was learning computers, I trained on an IBM and a Wang. I've never actually used a Mac.

ShirlW says:

I've never even touched a Mac so I guess I'm forever a PC kind of girl...maybe I don't know what I'm missing? ;)

ColorPetGifts says:

Need something mobile here soon for when I come to Arizona in september -:)

poddys says:

I tried to use a Mac once without success. Definitely stuck with PC's.

OhMe says:

Always have been a PC

MAC

scarlettohairy says:

Mac! I just got a new iMac this year after years of PCing it. I had used Macs years ago and am glad to be Mac!

---Chazz says:

Mac all the way since the early days

Roxy_Calamari says:

I bought my son my dream MAC, but I'm still on a PC :(

elyria says:

Mac :)

PMGillard says:

Get a Mac and if you really want the PC operating sytem as well, just add it to another partition. Cons - My last two Macs have squealed with noisey fans (G4 & G5) but the Intels are very quiet I understand. Will be getting another one soon. An iMac probably.
