13. Take action when the carpet is flooded. The flooded area is normally twice as big as you imagined. More than 70% of the water is in the padding, only less than 30% of the water is in the carpet. Remove Carpet Stains with Scissors

Tool: scissors, white latex glue

How: if the stain is tiny and on the surface of carpet, just cut it, make sure only cut the top of fiber, otherwise the cutting will leave a dimple on the carpet.

If the spot is very deep, cut all the fiber there, get clean fiber from the corner of same carpet.

Squeeze a drop of glue on the bottom of carpet, plant the clean fiber there.
