Phoenix Shopping at the Fantastic Indoor Swapmart

The Fantastic Indoor Swapmart (or FISM) is located just north of Camelback on 27th Avenue, just a short jump west from the Biltmore and just west of I-17.

FISM offers free parking and lots of it. Often times, there will be additional activities going on in the parking lot when weather permits (read when it cools down).

Note the map at the top. FISM is laid out, from the entrance on the west side, in rows.

The rows are alphabetized from west to east (nearer the door and further from the door) from A to J.

When you enter the door, vendor numbering starts from to your right at the far right at 1, and goes up to about 50 on your far left.

So, as showed by the map, A1 is in the southwest or near right corner of the building from the door, and I51 is in the northeast corner, or far left corner of the building. Numbers go up from right to left, and letters go up from front to back.

Simple.

There are three main corridors, one leading from the door to the east food court, and one each on the north and south sides of the building, going from front to back.

The simple, but useful little map above is available from the office, just inside the front door to your right.

Once you have your map, you're ready to begin shopping!

Whether you come east or west on Camelback, or north or south on I-17, the Fantastic Indoor Swapmart has 100s of vendors that are easy to get to from anywhere in the Phoenix area.
