Phoenix Sports Bars

These are in no particular order.

The Sandbar Mexican Grill- There's two locations but I've only been to the one in Scottsdale. I loved Sandbar and went there fairly regularly. They've got a good bar and a great menu. I love their burgers. The people are friendly and I usually saw a younger crowd. It's a great surf themes restaurant with lots of televisions, a really cool electric mural on the wall, and tiki torches and a foot pool outside. Every once in a while they'd cover the parking lot with sand, put up a volleyball net, get a DJ, and party outside. Really cool bar, great decor. Probably not technically a sport's bar.

Zipp's Sports Grill- Zipp's has six different locations and I've been to the one on Camelback. It's a clean fun bar with great food (Okay, so I mostly order burgers and nachos, but what I've had was good). I loved the outside patio too. Extra points also as they fill my need for new neon bar signs.

O'Kellys Sports Bar- Good sports bar in Mesa, plenty of t.v.'s. I went on a slow weekday so I don't know the crowd. My buddies went on St. Patrick's Day and said it was killer. There's three locations. Think it used to be called O'Sullivans but maybe I'm thinking of another place.

Champions- Okay, so this bar is kind of a dive, but I still thought it was fun. I went there to play Golden Tee and have a few cheap drinks. It's a small bar, I've never had the food. There is more than one Champions though, I THINK this is the address to the one I went to. If not, I'm sorry for the bad address. (The place I'm talking about is in the back of a building and has a paved walkway going right up the middle, bathrooms are immediately to your left as you enter, it's a narrow bar with dart boards just on the left and pool tables on the right, Golden Tee is in the back right, the bar is in the back left).

Sugar Daddy's- Okay, not really a sport's bar, but who cares? This list is hardly official anyway. I like Sugar Daddy's, it's very dark/red (lots of red lights). Sugar Daddy's is pretty big, I haven't even been in all the rooms. It has a stage inside for a band and has two bars. It's got a large outside patio out front. Drinks are average price, never tried the food. I've always had fun there.

This stinks, there's like 3 other bars just off the top of my head and I can't remember their names since it's been a while since I've been there. Dang it, all right, I'll just come back and add them as I remember them. Until then, feel free to post your favorite Phoenix-area Sport's Bars.
