Digital Camcorders..A Must Have Item

Camcorders and Home Video
A camcorder can provide lasting reminders of memories of a bygone past. Our son, last year took our 35 year old Super 8 films and made a DVD of them. We had a great time reliving memories of our 39 year old son banging on the piano as a 1 year old. You cannot put a price on such a memory.
There is so much more one can do in home video. I have a video of myself sipping a mai tai in front of the Sphinx, and another of me on the French Riviera. Both were shot in my computer room using green screen or chromakey software. I have another video of me being interviewed by a broadcast announcer on why I gave up Jennifer Aniston to stay with my wife. (Self preservation.)
Special effects, such as you see in Star Wars and many of the other sci-fi movies. We have a video of our 7 year old grandson doing his karate chops. As he does this, Yoda materializes from a space ship transporter and begins dancing around. He then disappears in a ball of fire as Rowdy hits him with a karate kick.
Animation is also within the reach of the home videographer. I have several videos of our poodles talking.
