- Interesting concept. Seems like you broke your own rule about "ask first" on that last entry. Might have saved you from the interfering woman. Love that you find out something interesting about each person.

- What a great idea, 100 strangers. The pictures are beautiful and I love reading the story about them. It shows that photography can touch other people, even stranger to share their story to us. --- Blessed ---

- I tend to shy away from taking people photos because many are camera shy. So I capture wildlife with my camera and flowers and mushrooms.

- This is a great idea! I'm loving getting candid shots of the locals in my rural community in China - I think I'm going to give this project ago. Need to learn the Mandarin skills to ask permission first though...
(My security word is inventive...think it's a hint? haha)

- 100 strangers - interesting project. I was glad to read that your disasters only involved being told off and nothing worse. Your photography is beautiful. I found this lens on your top 8 purple star best review. Blessed by a this Squidoo angel.

- Wow - I just love your idea. Great job! My husband & I have "photo competitions" which involve taking turns picking a random place or object while driving around, and then taking turns photographing it while the other one doesn't look. It's really neat to see our different perspectives, angles & closeups, and you end up with a lot of cool pictures afterwards!

- Great lens...I did this once in collage...borrowed one of the school newpaper's cameras and took pics of people on the way home on the train...most without them knowing it as I loved "unposed" pictures. I had a great time...wondering personal stories and histories but never knowing...5*!
I also wanted to thank you for your angel blessings on my Top 10 eco-friendly gift lens...I sincerely appreciate the vote of confidence!

- This is a cool idea for a project. I'm sure it would help hone your photography skills -- taking photos of people in my opinion is the hardest of all types of photography. Congratulations on the purple star!

- Great idea. I took photography classes at Crealde School of Art. Documentary Photo class required photographing businesses along a public highway. It made it easier to approach strangers and ask to make a photo because the school gave me a letter of introduction. It taught me how to overcome fear of rejection and strangers. BTW congrats on Purple Star.

- What a fabulous idea. The photographer would attain so many skills. I remember the first time I asked someone for a photo. It was at a bus stop. A native man was leaning up against the building smoking a cigarette. He had dark skin and deep wrinkles. Really beautiful. He asked why but then nervously agreed. It was my last shot of course. When I developed the roll the bottom was cut off. Including half of his face. I was devastated for it was an otherwise perfect photo.
Congratulations on the purple star.

It takes courage to approach a "stranger" but in the end, no one really is a stranger, at all!!
High fived and faved!!

- What a fabulous concept. I think I might have to give this a try myself, it sounds interesting. I think you would come up with some interesting photos. My husband is already embarrassed because he says I take photos of everything... this could disturb him even more:-) Poor guy!
