Is What We See Always What We Get?
Visual communication includes a lot more than words. It has been said that a picture can be worth a thousand words. This may also be said of a photograph (which is a special type of picture). Whether one is referring to the subject content of a picture or the process by which the picture came into existence, there are many types of pictures and there are many types of photographs. I have been interested in photography for many decades. When I first heard of Squidoo (from my sister) I was getting interested in an idea for a local, loosely "formed" discussion club or "forum" to seek answers and find information on unusual topics that are sometimes considered bizarre, alternative, or to-be-shunned in more conventional circles. Since pictures (and in particular photographs) might be very helpful in the communicating of questions, answers and information concerning these sometimes unusual topics, my interest turned to communication involving pictures, photographs, graphics, and other related digital aspects of the Internet. For initial reference, the proposed name of the "club", group or forum (including its "members" or participants) is "SEEKERS."

This is only "the beginning"...

The question is: how does one add graphic content most easily to a Squidoo lens? Anybody "out there" been through this? How many "graphic types" (JPEG, GIF, animated GIF, AVI, MPEG)can be uploaded and displayed or "inserted" on a Squidoo "lens"? Since I'm searching for answers and like to experiment, I thought I would ask! "Thanks in advance" from Normpixel. The Cameras I Am Familiar With
and who wants to "get technical" any more?
Although I am not a working pro photographer, I have been using one or more cameras for more than fifty years. In my opinion, there is no "best" camera. There are advantages to "getting to know" your camera. There are also advantages to getting to know about cameras (and other photographic equipment) before you "get" the camera or equipment. As some of my past work and employment involved photo equipment retail sales as well as working with photo equipment and processes, it was inevitable that I would come across many brands and types of cameras and photo equipment "along the way." Some of the brands alone comprise the English alphabet: Alpa, Bronica, Canon, Domke, Epson, Fuji, Gitzo, Hasselblad, Intel, JVC, Kodak, Leica, Mamiya, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax, Questar, Rollei, Sony, Tiffen, Ultrablitz, Vivitar, Wista, X-Digital Media, Yashica, and Zeiss. Each of these and many, many more have contributed to "the hardware and software" of taking and making photographic pictures. I have owned and used Pentax film cameras for years but that wasn't the only brand. I first used Olympus digital cameras and now am "having fun" with Fuji Finepix cameras to include an S9000, an S9100, and a Z5fd. I still have three Pentax 35mm SLR film cameras with several Pentax and non-Pentax lenses. Yet some of my favorite photos have been taken with "un-sophisticated" point-and-shoot cameras! Great Stuff on Amazon includes FUN camera "gear"!

Why Cats... Yeah, You Read It Right... WHY CATS?
...because "SEEKERS" are curious and so are cats!
Even cat owners admit that "you can't OWN a cat"! But you CAN observe them and they ARE curious and they SEEM to think AND dream. So do "SEEKERS" and therefore as we continue on this "lensatic" adventure there will inevitably (probably?) be more cats AND MORE SEEKERS "here" (and as "time goes by"). Look For JanetJenson!
