.mov and .avi video files
Why Is This Such A Problem?
My most recent frustration in the photograhpy fun life...my videos from my digital camera won't burn to CD with full sound. The sound is great on my computer and on my camera. But only the video portion burns to the CD. The sound doesn't work. So with some inquiries to Kodak about this problem, they inform me that I have to convert my video files from .mov to .avi files. Why? In my mind, either the software needs to include the option of the file conversion, or the cameras should be built to process these videos in the file format that works! What a let down to me when I love this camera so much! Now I am stuck trying to figure out something over my head about which conversion program to choose and will I have to pay for it or will there be a free download I can get that will do the trick for me.
