Photography Is Many Things
Photography is so many things depending on who is talking about it. Some people believe it to be an art where others are offended by the idea. Some people that don't except it as an art do no understand the work put into getting a great photograph. Creating the perfect beautiful image is more than pulling out the camera and pressing the shutter button, it takes time preparation, and lots of study.

Photography is art
Photography is an art, not a set of instructions. The best advice I've heard or can offer to someone who wants to improve their photography is to practice, learn, and practice some more.[1] Photography is an art and those of us who choose to practice the great art of street photography ought not be targeted by bullies like Blint. Many of the great artists, artists being shown in the SF MOMA itself were practitioners of street photography.[2] Photography is not a crime. And any private space open to the public falls under the same laws regarding photography as a public space.[3] Photography is first and foremost a machine-made art, after all, and that is much of what we like about it. If the ceremonial splendor of paintings and statues made sense to the pilgrims and courtiers of old, the everyday expediency of photography rings true for our own lives now as consumers.[4][1] http://userealbutter.com/photography/

Nature Photography
Nature photography is an attempt by the photographer to depict the natural world around us. In theory, the hand of man is not to be evident in the final result.[26] Naturalist photography reflects the artistic movement of the industrial age with rural life losing ground in the face of an ever more advanced machine-oriented urban society. For those times, naturalist photography clearly shows the attempt to stick to some important life aspects beyond the huge radical changes and upheavals.[27][26] http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch?hl=en&num=100&q=%22+photography+is%22&ie=iso-8859-1&sa=n&start=800

Macro Photography
Macro photography opens up the doors of a new world. It captures minute details of the subjects ?[60] Macro digital photography is so much more. Taking digital photography of macro, particularly abstract, is an incredibly stimulating art form.[61] The beauty of macro photography is every single item gets a new interesting perspective. Something ordinary can become extraordinary with macro photography, everyday items are seen as never before.
