- Most info sites tell you the issue is invasion of privacy. It's a public street and they can put as many cameras up as the budget will allow. The issue is a constitutional one. A red light violation is a criminal offense - it could result in damage and harm up to and including the death of a human being. In a criminal proceeding you have: The right to face your accuser. You cannot be compelled to testify against yourself. You cannot be deprived of your property (money in this case) without "...due process of law." The way these cities try to evade your constitutional rights is to call it a "civil" offense. No points on your license - just make a payment or tell who was driving. If your spouse was driving it is the same as testifying against yourself. Since the municipality suffered no damage there is no "civil" case for damages. This wacky legal aberration is the brainchild of politicians who care nothing for the rights of the citizens but just want to bypass a court of law (due process) so the revenue can flow directly to the money trough - of which they are "the public servants." If safety is the concern rather than money (as these government officials profess) why not send out a notice to the vehicle's registered owner advising that someone violated a red light in their vehicle and an officer will be by their residence to talk to them? Most people would not want to deal with that and would correct their driving laxness.

- I never heard of photo blocker before. I personally view yellow lights as they are red lights. This way there is 99% chance I will never get my picture taken by the cameras. This also helps to keep my Duluth car insurance nice and low.

- I wonder about the constitutionality of them. Doesn't an accused have the right to face their accuser? So how does one question an electronic camera in court?

- Everyone seems to forget one very important FACT, photo tickets, of any kind, are unConstitutional because you loose one very significant Right, the right to confront, face and cross examine your accusers. How in the world do you cross examine a camera and radar unit, use R2D2?

- This is a pretty cool lense, might need to go and get some of that spray so that I won't get any tickets going through toledo. I've got one, because while going through the intersection all the cars stopped leaving me and a few others in the middle until we creeped up through the intersection, the light turned red while i was still out in the intersection. Ended up going to court at 10 in the morning and told the judge, they then threw it away. Didn't need to pay $100 and get 2 points on my license. Anyway's good work with this lense, kind of funny.
