Photographs of Green Things
Buoyed by kind comments from readers of my other photo lenses, I'm tabling all my green shots.
Here they are, for your utility and pleasure. Check back often, as this verdant collection is sure to grow!
Gutter Snipe
Some of us are looking at the stars ...
Barley Dog
The most loyal companion.
It's a joy to go for a long wander with my camera and doggies. They love it, because they have oodles of time to faff around (unlike on my power walks). I love it because I'm never short of company. In fact, when composing a shot, I often have to shoo them away. On this occasion, however, the image in my viewfinder was so endearing I just had to keep it. My dear old loyal doggie! BTW, I don't know if that grass is barley or not. But it sure looks like how I imagine barley should.
Holding The Line
A photo poem.
All these shots were taken on THIS camera!
Quick Quiz (like REALLY quick)
How Green Was My Doggie
Essential background reading!
I love the illusion of scale, but this scene was way smarter than I. While I worried about the gum leaf on the distant succulent, a much bigger leaf lay in the bottom left corner.
And as I wondered if the bark could pass for a log, my two Jack Russell Terriers brought an entirely new scale to the equation. Sometimes it's better to be a conduit than a pool.

- Loved the photos on this lens. Here’s a virtual string of Mardi Gras beads for you!
And angel Blessings from me for some delightful photographs - I particularly liked the ones of grass (hanging gardens) and the playground shot.

- Love the new shots. I always notice plants that get a toehold wherever. In gutters, on roofs, in carparks ... life just wants to have a crack doesn't it? Keep them coming. Green with enjoyment at the end.

- Our grass is no longer green due to a few freezing nights. It's nice to see some green grass photos as a reminder. Pretty pics in this page, I'm going to have to choose "green with ivy" as my favorite.
