The 1st step

Open a new document

width=2in

height=2in

resolution=300px

Then...

SET YOUR BRUSH DETAILS

Size--300px

Angle--90

Roundness--12%

Hardness--100%

Spacing--140%

The 2nd Step

Place a dot near the left edge of the document .

Holding the shift key draw a line to touch the right edge of the document.

(Tip:When you hold down the shift key you can draw a straight line easily.)

Next lets apply the magic filter :) to convert the straight line to flower petals.

Click on Filter >>> Distort >>> Polar cordinates >>> rectangle to polar

The 4th step

Now to convert our flower to a brush.

Hide the background layer to have a transparent background.

Select the flower.

Then click Edit >>> Define presets and save your flower brush.

The 5th step

For another variation of the flower add a dot in the center with a hard round brush of 90px size.

Select the flower.

Then click Edit >>> Define presets and save your new flower brush.
