Conversion of Photo to Sketch
Photoshop has held out the conversion of photo to sketch. It performs with its execution of functions and deliver the output in detail here is the process to be followed.
Step 1
Take an image in Photoshop as shown below and as we follow to same process the image has created a background of its own hence the effects should be done taking a copy of background. Step 2
You can use shortcut while creating a copy i.e. Ctrl+J or can visit to layer menu and select Layer via Copy. A separate copy occurs as it has created a layer of its own. Step 3
After creating a copy visit to Image -> Adjustment -> Desaturate. The image will turn out to black and white. Desaturated Image

Layer 1 copy will occur.

The next step is to visit Image -> Adjustment -> Invert. This will convert the values opposite to it and burn light areas to darken mode and dark areas brighten. Inverted Image

After Invert we need to change the mode to Color Dodge and this will turn out your document to white completely. Step 7
Now we need to visit to Filter Menu and choose Other option and select Minimum. It will furnish you a dialog box and represent you the Radius with 1 Pixels. We are favorable with 1 and choose OK button. Step 8
The photo gets converted into Sketch and thus further changes can be done such as spraying colors by using colorize option. Step 9

Create Sun rays
Photoshop has its excellence in creating photo effects. It sprays its effects through the tools and variety of modes in panels and thus generates output. In below example we are going to construct sunlight rays on the image. Here is the following process.
Step 1
First take an image which has a source of sunlight coming through as below given example. You can see that the image has created on background layer panel hence the modifications should always be done by considering a layer. Step 2
Here in this image we are going to construct sunlight rays but first we consider foreground color to remain black and background to white.Also you can use shortcuts to make the process in easy manner such as Alt+ Backspace to fill foreground color and Ctrl+ Backspace to fill background color.
You have to complete this task only in same layer.
Step 3
To create effects, we need to create clouds which you will find in Filter -> Render -> Clouds. Hence when you apply it will generate clouds which consume both foreground and background color which you have set at the beginning. Applied Cloud Effect

After applying clouds set the mode in Overlay. You can also apply other modes but here we have considered Overlay to blend the image. Applied Overlay Effect

You will see that cloud pattern gets blended and after that we proceed to our next step which we need to go in Filter menu -> Blur -> Radial Blur.You visualize a dialog box which sprays you the Amount, Blur method and Quality and following this process we consider the amount to be 90 and Blur method: Zoom and quality at its Best. And adjust Blur Center according to the face of the light source.
Both this method will apply at its center but we need to set accordingly through the source of sunlight coming through. Hence we need to drag the process appeared in dialog box to the source of sunlight and thus it generates output spraying rays.

Reduce the opacity to 29% accordingly to dull the amount of rays. Step 7

In this way we can create such effects considering image only you need to follow process and the use of proper tools and proper modes which is suited accordingly when you are working on Document.
