Photographers I Think You Should Get to Know
A select list of my favorite image makers
- Werner Bischoff
- The great Swiss photographer and early member of Magnum Photos.
- Larry Fink
- "Larry Fink's photographs are like the stage in a darkened theater. His hand-held flash splendidly illuminates the details of the drama before us and reveals the nuance of the personal moment" Susan Kismaric.
- Rosalind Solomon
- A wonderful clean stylist and wonderful environmental portait photographer.
- Max Pam
- Max Pam is an Australian photographer and traveler who has traveled and photographed extensively through Asia.
- Raghubir Singh
- A master of color street photography and the preeminent chronicaller of modern India.
- William Gedney
- William Gendey photographed a wide range of subjects from Hippies in San Francisco, Coal Miners, and street life in Brooklyn. His strongest work was done on two long trips to India in'70s.
- Keith Carter
- The Texas based art photographer creates magical and mysterious images.
- Sebastio Salgado
- Probably the most well known documentary or "concerned" photographer working today.
