Many online marketers and web developers know that there a few simple rules for when marketing a website to sell a product or a service. And that is1. Attractiveness of the site
2. Web Aesthetics
3. Marketability
4. Ease of use
5. Expandability of the site
Ok there is more than a few, but what I'm pointing out here is the most obvious that you and everyone that wants to see results when selling a product or a service online. Since thousands if not millions of web developers got online, everybody has a different idea or likeable way of designing sites. Now I am not going on to dwell on the topic of design too much as this is not what its about.
I would like to point out clearly, for those web designers, home based business people who want a 'No fuss alternative to design' Well the answer is simple, purchase a pre-made template, which allows you to access the design, CSS and parts of the coding to customize around the nature of your business.
Yes these days there are so many ways where you can cut down the design time and concentrate on what matters the most. For some it may be to get their online business running ASAP, For some it might mean deploying a marketable web site and do one better than their competitors web site. Ok let's face it we all have different objectives, subjected to our budget, nature of business and purpose of the online web site?
Choosing a template:
1. Choose with the intent to 'Impress your target audience'
2. Choose with color schemes that suit you're branding and logo design, it is no use choosing a web template that has totally different color schemes from your branding and logo design. Try to be consistent and match closely as much as possible.
3. Choose a design that works around your business e.g. if you are design clothing store, best to use something that has a shopping cart design in mind. Rather than a flashy multimedia template design.
I have found some of the best designs that your money can buy and save you some big bucks in the long run.
