I think a picnic wedding is a wonderful idea. We always told our daughter that we would give her a weiner roast on the creek behind our house for her wedding reception. Of course, it was a far cry from that! Since she is now divorced, I really wished we had held a weiner roast instead of an elaborate wedding. lol

I had an outdoor wedding and loved it. I told guests, rain or shine, we were getting married outdoors. The weather did cooperate and it was a beautiful day.
