My Tips For Sunset Photography

1. Always leave enough time for setting up your equipment before the sun starts to set! I allow 20 minutes before so there is no rushing around.

2. Bring your tripod or monopod with you. It's always better to have the camera stable when taking this kind of picture.

3. The lens I tend to use is the Canon EF 100-400mm Telephoto lens or another favorite of mine is the Canon 18-200mm lens.

4. Do some previewing with the camera before the sunset happens. Find different angles that you might want!

And Then It Was Gone

And then it was gone.
The breathtaking sun had descended beyond the silhouette of the trees.
The lingering gold of the sun blankets the sky as darkness close in.
The gently colors swirls together for one last final moment.
The gold surrenders to the night.

    Sunsets are so beautiful, the play of light across the sky can make really great color and really illuminate or darken the subtle features of the environment around.
