Photographs in France

Photographs are a fabulous way to record life as you explore and discover new places and countries. I have lived in France for a couple of years now and wanted to share some of the beaches, countryside, flora and wildlife I have discovered since moving here. These are some of my favourite pictures of France.

Pictures of France Cities, Towns and Architecture

The Architecture in France is Second to None

One of the things you will notice as you explore the cities and towns of France is just how beautiful the architecture is. Whether you are admiring a brand new structure like the Millau Viaduct and ancient fortified castle from the Medieval period or a little village house, there is always something to impress and a shot to be captured. Sometime you will find the shabbiest of chic and other times you will find a structure in pristine condition, but there will always be something magical out there somewhere.

Le Moulin France

French Holidays Aude

We are feeling pretty fortunate to be living in this lovely part of France. We have sunflowers growing right in front of the house every other year and we are located just outside the lovely little French village of Issel. Many of the photographs are literally taken whilst out enjoying an evening stroll through the woods and the surrounding area to Le Moulin. We don't have to go too far for mountain views, inland lakes or wonderful architecture.

If you would like to enjoy this lovely environment then you can, because we have a self catering apartment known in France as a gite. So to visit our gite in France with a pool all you need to do is go to our website using the link provided and if you like what you see, get in touch to see if there is a week or two available for you to take a fabulous holiday in France.

Gorge De Galamus & Bastille Day Carcassonne 2011

Videos can be good to, this is a drive down the Gorge de Galamus located between St Paul De Fenouillet and Cubieres Sur Cinoble in the South of France. The Ermitage St Antoine-de-Galamus can be accessed from the car park on the south side of the gorge and you will find yourself located very close to the Cathar fortresses of Peyrepertuse, Queribus and Rennes Le Chateau. A very nice area to visit and to take a few photographs.

If you are interested in a photographic course in France follow this link to find out all about being taught by an expert photographer exactly how to go about taking the perfect shot for light, contrast and framing. That's not me by the way.
