Water can result in softer and bulkier stools, allowing for easier bowel movement while lessening the pressure on the veins.

* Avoid greasy and spicy foods as they can just wreak havoc on your digestive system.

Also, avoid alcohol because it can contribute to dry stools.

Highly refined foods such as white bread, white rice, cakes, pies, and pastries should be avoided as well.



Additionally, acid-forming foods like animal protein, sugar, dairy, foods, and beverages that contain caffeine should be kept to a minimum.
