Learn a Foreign Language with Dr. Paul Pimsleur

For some people, the mere thought of learning a foreign language sends them into a complete state of panic. This is understandable if you have ever struggled through a foreign language course before, or perhaps you have never been exposed to foreign language instruction. Maybe you could use a little help passing that college language course so you can graduate. If the time has come for you to learn a foreign language, rest assured that there is absolutely nothing to fear. Not only can learning a foreign language be easy, simple, and stress-free, but it could be one of the best decisions you've ever made!

You can learn nearly any foreign language in a rapid amount of time, just as you learned to speak English. Dr. Paul Pimsleur is a foreign language instructor who is well-known for developing a method of learning foreign language that is effective, quick and easy. The foundation of his instruction is listening to actual native speakers and learning to converse in that language. You have the option of downloading his lessons to your own personal computer, MP3 player, or you could choose to burn the lesson to a CD and play the lesson at your leisure.

Learning to Speak Japanese, It's More than Just Great Food

We've all probably had a plate of sushi, ramen or drank sake. But sometimes you can't help but wonder, "I wonder what it's like in Japan." Well, the food isn't the same in Japan as American japanese food. But the fact remains that Japan is a country of endless wonders, and can be an excellent vacation spot for just yourself or a family adventure.

Just as if you were visiting any other foreign country, it is a wise idea to learn the basics of the native language prior to your arrival. Keep in mind how frustrating it can be when visitors from other countries come to your native land and have no idea how to communicate with you. Not only will it help your trip go much smoother, but it's important to know the native language in the event of an emergency while you're there.
