Is the Pimsleur Spanish Download Option the Way to Go?

If you ask me, then my answer is no. No to the download option, but yes to the Pimsleur method. What do I mean? Its simple. If you need to learn a new language, like Spanish on a conversational level, then Pimsleur is without question, of the easiest courses to use.

While it does has some reading material included, the overwhelming bulk of the course is focused on the audio portion which allows learning in almost any circumstances.

The reason I said no to the download option, is one based on price and practicality. The Pimsleur audio CD and Pimsleur Audio Chip options offer the potential student much greater flexibility and perhaps most importantly the least expensive price option.

If you purchase the download option, there is no's buy back option. You can't sell it when you're done. Generous Pimsleur Buy Back options of up $100 or even $120 are available for CDs depending on whether they were new or used at the time of purchase.
