It should come as no surprise that the pinup girls fashion trend doesn't stop with the Hollyweird underground and celebrities...

Fetish Pin-up Models

Fetish pin-up modeling might seem tame by today's standards, but once upon a time, showing this much skin was downright scandalous! Thanks to the beautiful (albeit low-budget) photography and filmmaking of folks like Irving & Paula Klaw, and the talents of models such as Bettie Page and Tempest Storm, the classic fetish pin-up look will be forever a part of American culture. The fetishists who indulged in these photos and films in the fifties and sixties were often high heel and stocking fetishists, and fans of other kinds of lingerie and light bondage and domination. The models were pretty and bright and girls-next-door, often smiling and winking at the camera. The look is still alive today, with models like Bernie Dexter (above) and lingerie designers like Lucy B Lingerie who are committed to preserving this classic and comely style.

Hot Rod Kustom Kulture Pin-Up Models

The "bad girls" of pin-up modeling, often tattooed and pierced. Less glam and more sass, if you're looking for a gal to "pin up" on the wall of your garage, or to wave the checkered flag at the drag race, then a hot rod pin-up is the girl for you. Modern-day hot rod hotties such as Cherry Dollface (above) wear the look from head to toe. But it's not just a look... it's a lifestyle.

They're not strippers-- strippers take it all off. Burlesque dancers tease and tantalize with elaborate costumes that combine Vaudeville with striptease. Stockings, boots, jewelry, feathers in the hair, elbow-length opera gloves... every detail is important to creating the glamorous mystique of burlesque. Perhaps the most well-known modern burlesque dancer is Dita von Teese, who has brought the look and style back for a new generation of fans.

The Bernie Dexter signature line of lingerie is painstakingly reproduced from vintage patterns and styles. The "Scanty Panties" include a nylon center "stripe" up the back to hide the naughty bottom cleavage, just like the camera club models wore! This authentic detail is very unique and rare! The double nylon gusset and high-waisted style are also hard to find in vintage reproduction undies.
