However, before going into details about the Ping-pong Lens Building Process and Strategies, I should say the idea of this lens came from an article I wrote in Wise Biz Marketing Newsletter to my list encouraging them to build lenses using this process.

Therefore, I thought to myself loud to the extent that you were hearing me, why not I publish this article and lens building guidelines as a lens. Oh, ideas just flow like magic and I really thought at the same time Squidoo is a healthy addiction.

To start turning one of your hobbies to a successful web business and earn additional income follow these simple steps anyone can do. You need not to be a web business expert to do that.

1-

a- Write your hobby in a piece of paper. To give you examples let us presume that your hobby is playing Ping-Pong. This would be the primary keyword to your topic. You need to strengthen it for search engines to index your page high on their results pages and for people to find anything they were looking for that is pertinent to this keyword.

b- You may add some one or two words to it to specify that special thing about ping-pong. For example, some people could be looking for ping-pong balls, any ping-pong materials, any ping-pong playing strategies, how to learn ping-pong or just anything about ping-pong.

Write that thing about ping-pong you want to write about down on that piece of paper very organized. This will add additional words to ping-pong to define your topic. Let us say it comes to be "ping-pong playing strategies". This term would be your website concept or theme. Your website would seem as a keyword focused content website. People who are searching the web are looking for content and rich information on that content, like yours of course.

You need also to define the full keywords term "ping-pong playing strategies" by adding descriptive details to it in one and a half or two lines. You need to think about attracting people to through these lines. Make it compelling. You should not exceed 180 characters on these descriptive details. Now you have your website keyword, description and the home page file name.

Go exactly to this page Lens Building Process to build your first lens. This will open another browser window, so you can come here when you close that one, or minimize the two pages to follow instructions.

The details you will find there are good to build any web business here. However, what I needed is to explain to you how to use that lens building process.

In the first page, you check the box that indicates it is your first time there and proceed to the next page. You will read on the page:

Read down to the filter where you can read:

OK, just enter your keyword term in the filter/form and Go to step 2.

You will determine your personal goal in this page whether you want to get the word out about your lens, or you want to sell what your lens is about (i.e. stuff pertaining to your topic). You do not need to worry about that you do not have stuff to sell, because you will get this stuff to sell from different merchants when you complete the lens building process.

There are also two other choices as whether you want to make a list of your favourite thing about your lens topic, or you want to do your own thing on this lens. You are totally free here to determine your goals and go to step 3.

In step 3 you will see your lens title written in the first filter. You need to pick a URL, (that is a Uniform Resource Locator) for your lens building process. You should enter the same title here separated by dashes (better than underscores). It should look something like this: http://www.squidoo.com/ping-pong-lens-building-process.

Pick a category for your lens to ease its foundation and choose what your lens contain in the last filter. I prefer G RATED MATERIAL: Safe for all ages and eyeballs.

Click to Step 4: Tag your page so people can find it, where you add other 3 relevant keywords to your primary keyword you will see at the first filter. Then enter the security and identifier word to the left you see at the bottom before you click on "Done!"

You will come to a page like this one. In the first module, you see above take the example to type your headline and then description in the first module.

Now that you have built your first lens, adding modules to your lens to enrich your content will be a very easy process. Squdioo is very convenient platform to work using different rich media.

Just add those relevant modules to your theme-focused lens and keep it updated. Updating your lens is very important to both bring you traffic and to maintain this theme-focused lens by adding more information to it.

Using the bookmarks at your right column will also help your lens be found and bring you traffic. Bookmarking is a process that does not need a course to learn it. All that you will need is to join some of those bookmarks and follow their guidelines.

However, there are some techniques when using bookmarks and social networks to consider.

I found feeddigst, feedinformer now the strong RSS FEEDS technology to use. Best of all, it is free. The technology pulls all your network feeds in one place to many social networks, enabling you to gain more exposure.

Go to feedinformer and create an account. On your page that you have created, start creating digests. Name your digests. Perhaps, you may need one digest for your primary websites, each website by name. Alternatively, you may need digests for your networks.

Design your digests and make the layout that fits your website or social network. Decide on other techniques in your digests building tools in regards to frequency, how many items you want to pull and if you want the appearance by dates or not.

On "publish your digest", you will find many formats to publish in JavaScript, Picture, Flash, PHP, PDF and so. Choose your media for publishing and copy and paste the HTML codes into your website page or lens module. If it is a lens, you need to add a RSS FEED module. If you cannot fix this process, call for my help through the "send message" or the guestbook.

See the following example of my Bloglog, MySpace, Ning and Twitter pulled in here by feedinformer. You can use these named networks collectively for more exposure. Ning helps you connect to Facebook to share music files and videos. In addition, you can build free pages supported by a blog and pull in there some RSS Feeds. You can also add forum there if you have one, add a group, write events and chat.

There are two ways to upload audio, pictures or videos using the bulk photo uploader assisted by JavaScript or using the simple uploader. You can add photo from your Flickr account too. The easy way to use such functionality in Ning is to locate those activities at your Main page.

You may consider using your lens title as your file name or sub-domain. Copy the link to the RSS Feed from your lens page and add it to Ning to pull your lens feeds. Post a blog about your lens. Use photos and videos to support your lens. TO BE CONTINUED!
