About Ping Pong- My story
Ping Pong, also known as table tennis. It's easy to play. You just need a table tennis bat, a ball, table and a partner. It' easy to play, not harmful like football or basketball whereby we can easily get injury. Recently this game is very popular in Asian country. This game is conquered by the Chinese, China.
How I Get Started?
Back to year 1988......
Everything begin in 1988 when I went to the chinese association with my brother and grandfather for table tennis games, but during that time, I just went there enjoy picking up the ball when it drops from the table, I do not know how to play at all.In one occasion, whereby a new coach, a dark and loud voice teacher come over to this association and started to teach the player to correct method to play the game well. He bring together his national player-youth category. They really make me feel that this is the game should pick up and I started my ping pong journey here.
We practise almost 5-6 hours every day in the first 2 months to master it. We learn it together in a group, almost same age and we go through the TOUGH time together.
We join games together and winning is our journey and destination. From school, distric, state until the national level. We never give up and keeps going even when we lose the game, we always cheer up each other, motivate and work together, improve on our skill and knowledge.
Sometime, we need to sacrifice ourself for the team goodness especially when we played in double and team games. TEAMWORK is really important in double and team events compare to single events whereby it only required skill and knowledge-a ONE MAN show.
My championship journey
Month after month and year after year, I have been taking part in lots of events, restric, state , single, double and team events. I really really cannot forget about those days.......
Single is purely depent on our skill and tactics, but for double and team events, it really required a discipline team mate and it really matter on the balancing of the skill for the team player. Teamwork is important and all of us need to TRUST each other. Sometime, we also need to sacrifice ourself to ensure our team mate get into the TOP 3 places. This is the strategy.....
My greater achievement was represent the state in national tournament, not a junior competition, but National Open. Eventhough I did not get any prizes during that competition, but I gain lots of experience.

The most memorable games
The most memorable games that I had ever participated were Arafura Games in Darwin, Australia. It is organised by the local people in Darwin. It was an invitaion games for players from all around the world. We meet people from Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, etc.......
That time I was studied in University and I went together with my Uni-Team mate. We enjoyed an international dinner at the field, whereby we can eat food from Japan, China, Malaysia, etc.......We eat a lot as we were given lots of cash voucher as a participants.
After the great dinner, the competition begins. All of us need to go to the competition hall by bus-as we were given a ride pass, we can take any buses for free to any place we like. We took part in all the events, single, double and team. However, all of us were failed to proceed to the next game due to our skill is not as good as the other players for all three events.I lose to the Hong Kong player-national player, a young and calm lady. After the games each day, we went for outing with other players from other country. We have visited to the waterfall, the Litchfield national park, Termite field, crocodile farm, etc and we do enjoyed the Kangaroo meat and ostryx egg as our lunch. I meet friend guy and aunt, small little girl from New Zealand and Australia. The are very friendly. But I have difficulties to understand their language as the slang is different.So I always keep quiet unlike my friends, they enjoy talking.
We also went to the fish farm to feed the fish. Lots of big big fish in side the water and we just stand beside the fish to feed them, really scared that the fish will bite me. Basically Darwin is a place whereby well known with Jelly Fish and Crocodile. We can see "HARD CROC CAFE" there but not "HARD ROCK CAFE".
After a week there, we went back to our country with memorable feelings.
So, now, you also can have this kind of experience. Start to buy a bat and take up the game.

My Love Story
How I met my love one?
I am very fortunate. While enjoy playing table tennis, I meet my love one---> My hubby. Our love story begins when both of us were representing the University in the University National games. He is from another campus from the same university while I was station in the main campus. He is a former state player from another state.
Actually back to 1998, we have had chance to know each other during a national games, but because of our thinking-ego, both of us miss that opportunity. After 2 years, whereby we have the 2nd chance to know each other, but again we missed it. So we only have the chance to know each other after 3 years, but we never communicate and he's really a shy people. We did not contact each other and nothing happen. See we are missing chances by chances given by the GOD, but at last, in 2000, we again represent the University and during that time, we started our relationship. How? We have our training before the tournament in our main campus. Every morning and afternoon, we will get together in the table tennis room with 3 tables and practise ourselves. Actually, both of us already admire each other at that time, just our ego, we did not express it. We have our training program and also other program after the training everyday and from that period, we started to communicate, talk, make humor on each other. And the most memorable part will be when we were participating the tournament in other University, that time he started to express himself and I also started to accept.......
So, what next??? The condition is not that clear even during the competition. It's even clearer when after the competition we visited genting highlands, whereby he express himself fully asking me to become his girlfriend and I accepted it. Both of us enjoyed being there and where our love story begins.............
What's Now?
fyi, now I already have my own family, 2 cute sons. I have quit to play ping pong due to most of the time is spent with my son, taking care of them. But I believe, I will pick up my bat one day later as I really enjoy this game. A game that enjoyable and need limited item. No need to be expert, but a good and light sport that can make you sweat and stay healthy.
