Pink Kitchen for Kids. Kitchen play sets are wonderful toys, that help children to bridge the gap between their imagination and the real world. On one hand, a child can play alone, cooking meals, and serving them in an imaginary world, on the other hand, when friends visit, it's time to serve the play food to real people. If friends participate in the cooking, the kitchen set becomes a vehicle for learning social skills, negotiations, and compromise, as favorite toys and roles get assigned among friends. It takes some serious horse trading to get 2-3 young chefs to divide up work so each will be at least content, if not happy.These skills will pay off in the future - these negotiations are not that much different from the negotiations that grownups engage in every day. All these benefits, and still loads of fun - kitchen play sets are some of my favorite toys.

What a wonderful way to spend some time together. And as a parent, you know that your kids will soon, all too soon, grow up. So enjoy these wonderful moments now.
