The polka dot pattern was most popular in the 1950s with movie stars, housewives, and kids all wearing polka dots in some form. Dresses, skirts, blouses, scarves, aprons, and shoes all came in polka dots in all sorts of colors.

You could decorate your kitchen and other areas of your home with polka dots, too.

I think that is one reason I like polka dots so much, they remind me of my childhood!

Bob Dylan And His Polka Dots:

Since 1965 you can often see Bob Dylan wearing a polka dot shirt. I don't remember ever seeing him in pink polka dots, though.

    Love it, it wasn't polkadots I had but looked like it until you got close and saw they were little hearts. That was my favourite party dress ... when I was 7 or 8 years old. I didn't think I could ever grow out of it but I did. 5* for a beautifully dotty lens.
