Hot Pink Throw Pillows
Bright and Playful
No pillows are quite as playful as hot pink throw pillows. As bright and lively as these pillows are, they're not about to hide in a corner. I love the polka dot pattern, I think because while there is less pink than in the other pillows, the dots themselves are such an uplifting pattern.

Pink and shiny, metallic silver threads running through pillows like these offers a flair for the dramatic. "Pink passionistas" have designed a great variety of patterns and designs including modern and retro looks.
If you have a teenage musician in the family, the pink guitar pillow is perfect!
Pink Nursery Pillows
Frilly throw pillows for babies
Shhh...but I want the pink and green throw pillows for myself. I think that's one of the perks of having kids or of shopping online. No one has to know that I don't have a little girl (mom of three boys here) if I order a few of these pillows. Just like when I order four kids' meals at a drive through and there's only three kids. (They're the perfect size for me and sometimes I want the little toy collectible, too!)
Pink Bedroom Ideas
Nursery to teen to all grown up
I can't decorate a room without some serious inspiration. I need lots of magazine images or views of rooms I find online. I have a hard time coming up with my own ideas. Even if I could come up with my own ideas, I think it never hurts to see what others have done, just in case there's one neat, little idea you might want to incorporate in your plan.
Take a look at these example videos for some neat pink bedroom decorating ideas.

Give yourself choices
I am not the crafty one in the family. That would be my mom. She can cook, bake, sew, needlepoint, paint, and write. She'd be the last to admit it, but she must know my siblings and I are enamored of her talents.
Being able to make your own throw pillows gives you so many more options for designing a room that's all your own. There's very little chance that you and your friend will pick the exact same fabric and make the exact same throw pillows, whereas if you both shop at the same stores, the odds of an overlap are greatly increased. Browse these wonderful fabrics and then check out this page of decorative pillow patterns for ideas on making your own pillows.
Pretty in Pink
Molly Ringwald
Having been a teen in the 80s, there's only one thing that comes to mind when I think about the color pink. Molly Ringwald was famous for her roles in several great teen movies including Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, and Breakfast Club. As a beautiful redhead, she looked wonderful in pink and it was a theme she carried out in each role. The Phsychedelic Furs performed the song Pretty in Pink which was featured in the soundtrack for the movie by the same name. This tribute to Molly Ringwald shows clips from each of these three movies.
Pink in History
Pink, the classic color of femininity, can be warm and subtle or bright and powerful. It all comes down the shade used, the coordinating colors, and the vibrancy of patterns and textures. It's a traditional girl favorite, a symbol of romance, and a sweet, gentler version of the red color from which it's derived.
Pink pillows can be combined with a number of other colors and the shade takes its cues from those colors as to whether or not it will appear sugary and sweet, chic, classic, or understated. Combine pink with whites, creams, and yellows or with other primary colors for a little girl's room or with black, grays, and rich chocolate browns for a more sophisticated combination.
