Pioneer Valley Event Calendars

The Pioneer Valley is a region consisting of the three counties in Western Massachusetts through which the Connecticut River passes, and especially those towns that are in the lowlands of the Connecticut River Valley. A group of businessmen interested in promoting tourism gave the name to the region in 1939.

The Pioneer Valley and Connecticut River Valley are bioregions, not political divisions. As such, the area encompasses Southern Vermont as well as Western Massachusetts. In Massachusetts, the area includes Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden Counties, from Greenfield to Springfield. But there are also strong economic, political and environmental connections to Southern Vermont.

Here is an extensive collection of area event calendars.
