Musical magic in the world of the pipe organ

I love organs - Pipe organs! Whether big and small, old and not-so-old, famous or a hidden gem - they are all represented here in the collections of pipe organs from around the world which I have photographed or designed as I accompany my husband on concert tours.

There are T shirts, mugs, aprons, apparel for men, women, kids! Not to forget greeting cards, notebooks, mousepads, buttons and knick-knacks of all kinds to suit musical friends. Over a 1000 product designs are on this website, which carries the largest collection of organ-related goodies online! And if you can't find what you're looking for, hassle me! Yep, write to me, make a comment, or just do whatever it takes to get in touch with me, and tell me what you need.

Organ Gifts and Goodies

It's all about the king of instruments...

I have always been moved by the sight and sound of organs, whether large or small, famous or a forgotten one-keyboard in a small country church. They might operate from the same basic principals of sound production but you wouldn't believe just how varied they are in size, age, appearance - and of course, sound! No two are alike (which is the great challenge for touring concert organists!) but it's this same uniqueness that makes them perfect (if tricky) photographic subjects. By combining my two passions - photography and music - I get enormous pleasure from travelling the world looking at and hearing pipe organs - in the flesh so to speak. By photographing this wonderful King of Instruments I am now able to share my visions of them with people who haven't had the good fortune to see and hear them live.
So organs are the main focus of this store, which sells a large collection of beautiful pipe organ calendars, mouse pads, mugs, US postage stamps and other gifts. Together these are the perfect gifts ideas for organists, church musicians, performers, choir directors - almost any musician you can think of.

Goody of the week ( or day, if I get really excited)

This time: Organist at your service business cards

Organist at your service business cards

My choice this morning (and a slightly overcast summer morning here in New Zealand) is the design range "Organist at your service". It has a lovely double meaning - organists of course play at all kinds of services from weddings, baptisms, funerals to the regular Sunday services. They're VERY busy people! And the words "At your service" announce that they are ready and willing and able to work for you. Neat, huh? These are superb for any organist wanting to expand their talents with extra commitments, or just to start a new job somewhere. The design is also featured on other goodies such as t-shirts, and even an apron!
PS: This design features a German Oberlinger organ in the Marktkirche in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Rheinberger Passacaglia from the 8th Sonata.

The organ behind the business card

Jean Luc Perrot plays the finale from the Passacaglia by Rheinberger on the superb Wiesbaden Marktkirche Oberlinger organ, that is featured in the Organist at your service business cards.

Who would you like to buy organ gifts and goodies for?

Please take my poll!

Although we all love to give gifts, sometimes we allow ourselves a bit of luxury and treat ourselves to a little personal gift. I'm interested to know whether more people buy my organ gifts and goodies products for others as presents, or buy for their own needs. And don't worry, this is entirely anonymous!

Lovable lenses

Looking for new ideass? Have a wander!

These are mainly musical, in some shape or form. But hey, I love life and always on the lookout for something new.
Especially in the world of puzzles... jigsaw puzzles through to logic problems. Anything that gets the old grey wobbly cranial stuff working.

Oh, this is wonderful! Many of my Mom's relatives are church musicians, especially organists, so the first instrument I took lessons on was a little Hammond organ. Woodwind instruments are much easier for me, so flute is my primary instrument, but I have kept the love of the organ by taking more lessons in recent years and playing as a substitute organist at a few churches. ~ I read your email and would certainly be interested in making connections with you. =D I'll be back over the weekend when I have more time to check out your items.

Super - will look forward to that - and by then I may have figured out how to drive Squidoo. Must admit, it's a lot of fun even at this stage :-)
