I've recently discovered Pirate Mod. They are pirate fanatics - their words - but they're also extremely talented designers and illustrators. Their clothes are original and very, very wearable. With a range of adult, kids and baby clothes, you really can't go past them if you're looking for quality clothing with attitude.Some of my favourite items for girls include...

Girls stuff at Stardust
Stardust Kids is one of my favourite shops for cool kids clothes. Their range is continuously growing and gets better with every update. As well as clothes for kids they have a great range of stuff for mums and dads, and a load of fun accessories, books, musical instruments, toys, purses and bags. You could spend all day there.
At the moment, I'm really liking this Bow Peep dress.

Historically speaking, I don't think enough pirates dressed in hot-pink. If they did, we probably wouldn't be having this discussion. Consider Elizabeth Swan. Gorgeous, kick-ass, the cleverest one in the whole 3 movies and she won the hottest guy (except that he was ... dead, but hey:) You know what I'm saying.
Is it responsible to dress our daughters as murderous cutthroat pirates simply because *we* think it's cute?
