Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - On Stranger Tides
Much speculation has been made regarding whether or not Disney will bring back the infamous Jack Sparrow in a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean Movie. The original trilogy grossed more than 2.7 billion dollars. With Disney making that kind of money from the Pirates movies, you can bet there will be another adventure, or perhaps a new trilogy involving Jack and his gang of pirates.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is no longer just a possibility, it's almost a certainty. More importantly, Johnny Depp is all but assured to return and he may end up making as much as $40 million to do it, After all, without Captain Jack Sparrow it wouldn't be much of story, now would it? Also returning will be Captain Barbossa along with the original director, Gore Verbinski, but forget about the rest of the cast because from now on the movies will only be about Captain Jack, although it would not surprise me to see some appearances from Will Turner as the Captain of the Flying Dutchman or from Elizabeth with her and Will's son, but that might be further down the timeline if Pirates 4 is to be the beginning of a new Pirates trilogy. Pirates 4 - Plot Speculation
There are several ways that Pirates of the Caribean 4 could take off based on the ending of Pirates of the Caribbean(3): At World's End. It could pick up with the story of Will and Elizabeth and there son (some people missed this as it was shown at the end of the credits, ten years later), BORING! Let's hope not and I think that was just more to end that story altogether as it is speculated that neither Keira Knightley (Elizebeth Swann) or Orlando Bloom (Will Turner) or there characters will return, although I wouldn't count them out entirely.Pirates of the Caribbean 4 could begin with the search for the Fountain of Youth as eluded to in the final scene (before the credits) which is still pretty viable. It could go on from there as much of the buzz going on now about Pirates 4 involves Captian Jack leading his crew on a voyage to find the lost city of Atlantis, perhaps where the Fountian of Youth resides. It is unknown if Barbossa will be teamed up with Captain Jack Sparrow or racing against him towards Atlantis, My vote is for the latter.

The proposed story for the fourth film is for Jack Sparrow and Barbossa to meet up in the newly founded New Orleans, before they sail to find the Fountain of Youth together. As previously believed, Keira Knightley (Elizabeth Swan) and Orlando Bloom (Will Turner) will not be returning this time around.
