Pirates: Rule the Caribbean
If you have a Facebook account, odds are you've probably received an invitation to this game. Pirates: Rule the Caribbean is made by Zynga, which has a slew of Facebook mini-games. You start off as a lowly pirate, buying a weapon and gaining your first crew member. You can plunder the nearby island for 'jobs', gaining gold which allows you to buy better weapons and armor. You can also buy property to generate gold as well. As you gain levels, you can increase your attack, defense, energy (used for completing jobs), health and strength (used to attack other pirates). As you level up, you can attack other pirates, fight "boss" pirates for specific loot and build an empire.
Unlocks
This is a breakdown of the unlocks you get after attaining a certain level.
At Level 6 in the Armory you unlock the hand grenade
At Level 10 in the Armory you unlock the Shoulder Parrot and the Spanish Galleon

LOOT - Offensive Items
What would a pirate game be without loot?
You get loot one of four ways. Either you plunder it in fights with other pirates or you get in from completing jobs. There are also some items like Lanterns and astrolabes that you can buy. Even though you buy them they are considered loot. You will need to have a minimum number of crew to purchase them. You can also purchase special loot items using favor points.
