The Adventures of André and Wally B.
The Adventures of André and Wally B. (1984)
The Pixar short film "The Adventures of André and Wally B." proved that computer animation was possible.

Lucasfilm Computer Graphics Project
The short film "The Adventures of André and Wally B." was created at the Lucasfilm Computer Graphics Project, which later spun off Pixar Animation Studios.
Luxo Jr. (1986)
In this Pixar short film you'll meet Pixar's logo "Luxo" and his son "Luxo Jr."
Luxo Jr. was the first film produced by Pixar Animation Studios, following its establishment as an independent film studio. It's the source of the small hopping desk lamp included in Pixar's corporate logo.

When John Lasseter was learning to make models he chose the nearest object to work on: the architect's lamp sitting on his desk.
He started moving it around and the lamp became the star of another short film by Pixar that was nominated for an Academy Award.

Some of the challenges faced by Pixar while creating "Red's Dream" were the following:
- It was a nighttime scene.
- They added raindrops.
- There's juggling in the film.
- Pixar's first "organic" character appears in this shortfilm: Lumpy the Clown.

BURN-E is a short film by Pixar Animation Studios based on the movie WALL-E that is attached to the movie's DVD and Blu-ray Disc release on November 18, 2008.
The short film, directed by WALL-E lead animator Angus MacLane, was produced at the same time as WALL-E, and is included as bonus material to the DVD and Blu-ray release. BURN-E features music composed and conducted by J.A.C. Redford, who was also orchestrator on the film WALL-E.
The short film is based on a character who was briefly seen when WALL-E and EVE fly around the Axiom starliner, and enter through a door, locking a welder robot outside of the ship. This short film was released with the feature film "Up".
"Everyone knows that the stork delivers babies, but where do the storks get the babies from? The answer lies up in the stratosphere, where cloud people sculpt babies from clouds and bring them to life. Gus, a lonely and insecure grey cloud, is a master at creating 'dangerous' babies. Dug's Special Mission (2009)
Dug's Special Mission will give "a little bit of the backstory of what Dug was actually doing" before encountering Carl and Russell in Up. The short will be directed by Up story supervisor Ronnie Del Carmen.

- Thanks it is great to have these all together. I have a lot of them on various DVD's. But, would normally just watch them when the kids plan to watch the feature film they are included with.

- Although I've loved Pixar since the first time I ever saw the Luxo/Luxo Jr shorts, I think Lifted and Partly Cloudy are my two most favorite Pixar shorts. Great lens!
