Plan 9 From Outer Space
Plan 9 from Outer Space is a masterpiece in the science fiction/horror/fantasy genre. Well, masterpiece may be an overstatement, but it is so bad, it is good.
In fact, it is unintentionally hilarious. The cheesy special effects, the inappropriate use of stock film footage, the obvious breaks in continuity and outrageously bad dialogue combine to make this movie a lot of fun if viewed with the right people.
Never mind the tombstones are made of cardboard and bend on-camera - director Ed Wood truly believed in his product. There have been men who made films for profit, there have been men who made films to exploit: Ed Wood made them because they were inside him, and he needed to get them out. That sincerity, in the face of total ineptitude, makes each one of his films, and particularly Plan 9 From Outer Space, something special. Bad, but special.

Criswell's opening narration of Plan 9 From Outer Space redundantly informs the viewer how "future events such as these will affect you in the future". Immediately afterwards, he states that the story has already "happened on that fateful day".

Plan 9 From Outer Space ~ Movie Trailer In Color
Ed Wood's cult classic has been hailed as the worst film of all time, but it's one of the most hilariously entertaining movies you'll ever see.
Aliens from outer space reanimate the Earth's dead in an attempt to save the human race. Will their 9th plan work? With string-powered flying saucers, laughable dialogue, shrewd alien logic and "priceless" special effects, they can't go wrong. Or can they? (Hint: They do.)
Plan 9 is a movie so beautifully bad, it's great.
