What is going on at Planet Hyundai
Planet Hyundai has had some serious issues with their customer response to poor advertising and over aggressive sales tactics. It does not look like they wish to do anything to rectify the problems that they have.
We have offered help but they want guarantees that cannot be given. This is coming from a dealer who sells used cars AS-IS.
I guess we could help them if they would give a lifetime refund policy on all of their used cars. That is just as silly as them wanting a Money Back Guarantee to get their name back.

- BAIT AND SWITCH:February 2009 responded to an ad. Was told car was there at that price. Drove 30 plus miles to see car. I call once I was in their lot and was told it was still available. Then I was told it was out on a test drive. An hour later I was told it was sold. I asked to see proof the car existed. It did not even exist! I got many lies from different people about that car in the hour or so I waited.

Their new "luxury" sedan makes me laugh out loud.
My uncle bought a 03 Hyundai sonata (i think it was a 03') and the engine blew out and the chasis almost broke in half because of rust (he lived in california).
Hyundai said it was the owners problem, not theirs, and my uncle sold it for 50 bucks.
Althrough he could have sold it for a hundred, if he filled up the gas tank..............

- I HAVE A 06 SANTA FE, AFTER THEM BUYIN GBACK MY LEMON SANTA FE 03. THE 03 WENT THRU THREE TRANNYS. THEY BY THAT BACK AND NOW I A 06 SANTA FE WITH A NEW TRANNY PROBLEM, THAT THEY WONT FIX. THEY ARE SAYING IT IS DRIVER HISTORY PROBS, NOT TRUE. I GO TO GET THE SANTA FE AFTER TWO WEEKS AT THE DEALER AND IT IS WORSE THEN WHAT I BROUGHT IN AT. THERE IS NO PARK GEAR IN THE TRANNY, IT WENT INTO PARK MODE WITH NO PROB, NOW IT HAS TO BE SHOVED INTO PARK TO EITHER START IT OR GET KEY OUT OF IGNITION. IT HAS DENT ON HATCH BACK THAT WAS NOT THERE WHEN BROUGHT IN ON JUNE 12, 2008. ALSO TO BOOT, IT HAS FLAT TIRE AS WELL. SO JUST WHAT DID THEY DO TO MY TRUCK WHILE THEY HAD IT. I WAS TOLD BY SERIVCE MANAGER HE DROVE IT FROM THE BACK AND AROUND THE BLOCK AND COULD NOT TELL THE TIRE WAS FLAT!!!! HOW DUMB ARE YOU!!! AFTER TWO WEEKS THERE AND FIGHTING AND REPORTING THEM TO HYUNDAI CONSUMER AFFAIRS, BBB, AND GETTING DIST REP ON PHONE STILL NOT FIXING TRANNY. THEY PUT A FLAG ON SUV TO NOT FIX ANY TRANNY PROB
