The Planet Earth series is, like most other BBC Wildlife documentaries, narrated by Sir David Attenborough. During the last 25 years, David Attenborough has established himself as one of the worlds leading wildlife presenters, and has been responsible for several epic BBC series, such as Life On Earth, The Living Planet, The Trials Of Life, The Private Life Of Plants, Life Of Birds, LifeOf Mammals, Life In The Undergrowth and Blue Planet.

Aside from this, he's the author of several books, many of which accompany the TV Series he has presented. In 1985 he was given a knighthood in recognition of his services to the British public.
