Planet Wealth is a Stock Market trading company that is operated by some of the most highly successful traders worldwide. They offer 6 different strategies that will cater for almost anyone, depending on your trading style and the level of risk and return you feel comfortable with. When you join Planet Wealth you will be provided with exactly the same trades that these traders actually place on their own accounts.

So, basically Planet Wealth is not a "trade recommendation service" they are more so a "trade sharing service"

The way it works, is when these traders place their own trades using their own money, you will be notified by SMS and email with this trade immediately. You can then choose to place the same trade with your stockbroker. If you do not have a stockbroker, Planet Wealth also provide a list of some of their recommended brokers.

Alternatively, you can use one of Planet Wealth's free services called "Auto Trader". This service gives you the ability to have your trades placed for you without lifting a finger. Once a trade is identified by the professionals at Planet Wealth, they will make the trade and that exact trade will be copied to your account. This is a great added value service which basically puts your stock market trading on auto-pilot. In my opinion this type of trading would suit people who do not have the time or skills required to manage their own portfolio.

As mentioned earlier, I have put a lot of time into researching this company to determine whether or not planet wealth is a scam or a success. The following is my personal Planet Wealth Review

Since joining planet wealth with a subscription to their "Renting Australian Shares" strategy 3 months ago, I must say that I am both impressed with their professionalism and also the results I am achieving in my stock portfolio.

Another thing worth mentioning here is the amount of support provided by planet wealth since I have been a member of their service. They have been quick to respond to emails whenever I have asked a question (within 24 hours) Something else that I have found very helpful is the online forum that you get access to with your membership, this is great for chatting with other members about their successes & the different strategies that they may be using.

CURRENT STRATEGY DETAILS:
The strategy I am subscribed to at the moment is the "Renting Australian Shares" strategy combined with the free auto-trader service.

My subscription cost to planet wealth for this strategy is $99US per month, which is very affordable and I feel it provides great value for money.

Also be aware that while using this strategy, my trades are placed automatically for me and my investment is insured at around 80% of its value, so even if the stock market collapses and one of my stocks drops by even 100%, I can always sell my stock for 80% of my purchase price...I bet a lot of people would have liked to have their stocks insured over the past couple of years!

MY RESULTS:
These are the actual results i have been able to achieve using only one of planet wealth's strategies. With this strategy I have invested $70,000AUD to trade with. All results below are in Australian dollars and are for the period October - December 2008.

Total Losses: $ 4056

GROSS PROFIT: $13522 = 19.31% ROI

OXR: Bought calls on 10/7/08 for 8.5c, closed the very next day 11/7/08 for 12c. A profit of 30% after fees.

ANZ: Bought calls on 16/7/08 for 83c, closed the very next day 17/7/08 for $1.14. Once again made a 30% profit after fees.

The Share Purchase Plan strategy can be very profitable, but is not widely known and is rarely considered by the majority of investors. However, the reality is it's a great way to make regular profits with very little risk, using limited capital.

Share Purchase Plans (SPP's) are essentially a quick and easy way for companies to raise money so they can grow or fund their business. A lot of companies need to do this from time to time, but it's normally a very expensive and time consuming process for them.

However, with SPP's, they can raise money direct from their existing shareholders, by offering them new shares at a considerable discount to the market price at the time. That means their shareholders can essentially buy more shares at a price much less than they are worth - always a great way to make money!

All we need to do is find out which companies are offering discount shares, and we simply become a registered shareholder before the SPP discount offer closes.

The Protected Equity strategy is aimed at generating substantial capital gains by using leverage from 100% finance, while still having our downside protected. We use a combination of shares and options in this portfolio.

We choose high growth companies that we expect to rise in price, and because we are trading this strategy over a longer time frame, we can ride out any short term volatility or share price weakness.

The beauty is we don't use any of our own money to buy the shares, and we are protected from any fall in price - we have insurance which guarantees we can't lose money from a share price drop. All we need to do is pay for the insurance upfront (just like you do when you insure your car or anything else) and we are fully protected.

In fact, if the share does drop, our insurance goes up in value, so we can still make a profit. And we still get all the profits from a rise in the share price, and all the dividends along the way - even though we often haven't paid anything for the shares in the first place. All in all, a wonderful medium-long term strategy that has limited downside risk, but huge upside potential.

The Option Spreads strategy is aimed at generating substantial profits by using a particular strategy with fixed risk and fixed return for every trade.

With this strategy we trade several different versions of Option Spreads, which makes it a very versatile portfolio. We can make profits in up markets (bullish) or down markets (bearish), and have several different ways to generate profits depending on the situation.

Our risk is always 'fixed' with every trade, and often we don't even need the share price to move in order to make money. Our minimum target 'Return on Risk' is 40% per trade, and it's very common to see returns for successful trades in the 60-90% range.

And better yet, we never own any actual stock in the Option Spread portfolio - this is an 'options only' portfolio, and is therefore designed with higher returns, and risk, in mind. Our analysis is exhaustive on each and every trade, using two professional traders analysing both technical entry points and appropriate fundamentals before a trade is selected. That stacks the odds massively in our favour, and gives us the greatest chance of success with every trade.
