Plastics
Plastic Fabrication involves the use of various plastics, commonly used types are, Acrylic, Polycarbonate, PVC, Polypropylene, ABS etc..
Main equipment required is a water cooled heat bender, Panel Saw to cut plastic to size. Also steel weights are recommended to hold plastic in position whilst gluing. Clampls to hold plastic and various types of glue.
More specialesed people use a CNC Router to route out the various panels which can have slots, cut outs and holes machined into them before the Heat Bending operation takes place.
