If you someone like me who became passionate about playing piano at my adult age, then you probably know how painful can be the process of learning something completely new.

Fortunately there are some steps on can take to avoid emotional pain of learnign new stuff especially something like playing a musical instrument.

I can give you a few tips to follow so you can make your piano lessons much more enjoyable with much less frustration.

Playing piano by chords is much simpler than note-by-note

In music there are literally thousands of chords and probably thousands or even millions of tunes out there. Is it possible to learn to play almost any song by learnign to play four chords? The answer is yes.

Those thousands of chords have their roots based on four types of chords. What are these chords.

The firs chord is called the major chord.


The second called a minor chord.


The third called augmented Chord.


And fourth is called diminished chord.


One thing you must realized is that any chord basic or advanced are based on those four basic ones.

As I said earlier it is much more easier to learn to play by chords than note-by-note. Since all the chords are based on these four basic ones.

You must practice your skills in order to avoid you fingers to get rusty

Practice makes it perfect. It doesn't matter what piano lessons or course you are taking. You need to to practice. Without practice your fingers get rusty. So even if you have only 10-30 minutes a day.

Especially when we are talking about learning to play piano without pain you must understand that playing piano is a long term goal. That's the reason you need consistent practice over long period of time to become completely comfortable with piano.

One of the options to learn to play piano quickly would be to take online lessons, or you can choose to learn through a DVD or software program. Usually online lessons are less expensive than piano lessons with a tutor, and if you do have problems in learning to play the piano, there a support instructions to help you.
