Free crochet, knit, and sewing patterns for children's play food

Welcome!

Updated 11/30/10 with a few new crochet and sewing patterns, and a brand new section: No Sew Food!
. . . . . . . . .
I love making play food! My preference is to craft using felt, but sewing, crocheting, and knitting can produce some super cute play food items too.

I've compiled a list of adorable & free play food projects that I have found all over the web. I hope you enjoy making these items as much as I do.

Enjoy and happy crafting!

What a great resource! I love to crochet and usually create stuffed plush animals, but have been thinking about trying some crocheted playfood. Thanks for the pattern lists.

I knit hats all the time, but never thought about knitting play food for my grandkids! What a great idea! Now, how can I knit a cup of coffee like the one I just made with my keurig mini plus personal brewer I wonder?
