Playing with the Grand Mansion is truly an experience. There is so much to do. Chances are your child will come up with plenty of things to change, rearrange, will invite toy figures and favorite teddy bear to the mansion too. If she runs out of the things to do - you can help by proposing to redecorate the mansion. One idea is to try decorating it for the different holidays - this will keep the mansion fresh and ever changing, while allowing parents an opportunity to explain the meaning of various holidays. Just think how much fun it could be to decorate the mansion with red hearts for the Valentines Day; to redecorate in Red White and Blue for the Independence Day, to put spiders and spider webs for the Halloween. How about some turkeys and family gatherings for the Thanksgiving, and perhaps adding an Advent Calendar for Christmas.

If you want to have even more fun - invite other kids to play with the Grand Mansion, and watch how kids deal with each other, with conflicting redecorating ideas, with pieces that don't want to stand just in the right place. While it is amusing for grownups to watch, for children it's a part of maturation process. Dealing with other kids, they improve social skills, learn to negotiate, to convince others, and to compromise. Placing little figures in the right spots develops manual dexterity, and improves spatial sense. All these are skills that are vital in later life, and the earlier in life they are developed, the better for the child. I also like the fact that kids can develop such skills while playing - no stern teachers, no boring lectures - just fun and games. It's a natural way to learn how life works - and it's fun too.
