Since Playmobil knows that a 1 year old loves to put everything in their mouth, there are no small pieces to any of there sets for children under 3 years of age. What a great safety feature and a comfort to parents that they are purchasing safe toys for their child. The bright colors on these toys capture the child's attention so they will play for a long period of time.
