Playstation 3 Repairs Made Easy

Fixing and repairing my Playstation 3 and carrying out my own Playstation 3 repairs was something I never thought I would have to do but when my PS3 console just ran out of warranty I started having some small problems with it. It was mostly because of the Blu-ray drive was not reading the PS3 game disc properly. I never had to do any playstation 3 troubleshooting before so I didn't know where to start to find out how to repair a ps3. After a lot of research and wading through a lot of useless articles I was able to find help as discribed below.

Ways to fix Your PS3 Blu-Ray Drive And Other Playstation 3 Repairs

After many searches on the internet on how to clean the blu-ray lens in ps3 and fix any possible problems with the drive I finally found out that I can clean it with a small amount of 99% alcohol and a qtip. The alcohol evaporates very quickly and will not leave any residue behind. When I got the blu-ray lens problem fixed with the qtip trick 2 weeks later I got the Playstation 3 freezing problem. This started happening when watching a movie, it freezes every 5 min. I tried a different movie and it was still doing the same thing. I tried system default formatted the hd and didn't solve the problem. I soon realized I would need more help with this ps3 troubleshooting freezing fault..
After a lot of research on the internet I finally the answer to my problems The PS3 Repair Guide. This guide has saved me a lot of money as was able to complete the repairs myself and anyone can do the same. A lot of people will just package up the PS3 and send it off to Sony for repair costing around $150. Read below for more details on the guide or go here to download it.
