I just discovered the Plunderhere.com community, and what a pleasant surprise. I've never posted in any forum or community before, and have not yet at Plunderhere, but the members are very nice and helpful.

I've lurked on many forums that appear unfriendly to new persons, and there are a couple of sites I looked at that have closed forums (members only). The closed forums are at Wagglepop and Hibidder. A closed forum makes me feel like there is something to hide or the site doesn't want new members.

Within the Plunderhere.com community, there are various areas. It looks like each new member is welcome there with a single thread, and there is tons of help for those needing it.

I might get the nerve to join in the discussion. Meanwhile, I can learn a ton about events, prommotions, the site and more by lurking.
