While Ebay has many powersellers, there are many more small to medium family based or individual sellers who are moving on.Plunderhere.com appears to be a favorite by those voting on Powersellersunite.com. Listings are now at 66,000+ and growing strong.
Other alternative sites are also drawing attention in the wake of Ebay's announcement. As a buyer, I am excited to see more shopping opportunities. My hope is that the diversity of sellers across different sites will give buyers more choices and some great savings, especially on shipping which is always inflated at Ebay.

One great item I like about Plunderhere is the owner, Mo interacts with the members. She's not removed, but is rather entrenched. Also, Plunderhere is the only alternative auction site that I have found that publishes detailed data about sales, listings, sold, etc.
While other sites make claims of members, listings, sold items, etc., I've not found another that openly provides this information.

Fun, Informative and Friendly
I just discovered the Plunderhere.com community, and what a pleasant surprise. I've never posted in any forum or community before, and have not yet at Plunderhere, but the members are very nice and helpful.I've lurked on many forums that appear unfriendly to new persons, and there are a couple of sites I looked at that have closed forums (members only). The closed forums are at Wagglepop and Hibidder. A closed forum makes me feel like there is something to hide or the site doesn't want new members.
Within the Plunderhere.com community, there are various areas. It looks like each new member is welcome there with a single thread, and there is tons of help for those needing it.
I might get the nerve to join in the discussion. Meanwhile, I can learn a ton about events, prommotions, the site and more by lurking.
The more I search around the Plunderhere site, the more I see that I like. This may be a great place for you to shop at or if you are a seller, a great place to sell online.
