I'm making this page about plus size because...My Whole life my weight has been an issue with me! Don't get me wrong I was so skinny growing up. Up until I had my 1st child at 28. I could sit and eat a whole half gallon of ice cream in one day and still stayed under a hundred pounds. I was just very active in school. My older sister told me "It's going to catch up with you one of these days". Well 42 yrs later it did. Now over 200 lbs I have been on so many diets it's crazy. I have had health problems and my legs and feet hurt all the time. But you know although I am a large women I still can be beautiful....I remember when I was young Delta Burke the actress struggled with her weight, but she was an still is a very gorgeous women. And I guess still struggles with her weight.

I guess if you get anything out of this lens.... if you are over weight never forget the inner beauty that God blessed you with. A smile, a great pesonality is worth so much more than pouring yourself into a size 8 jean. Living life to the fullest but still be healthy and eat healthy.

The Perfect Women

Living up to barbie standards

My whole life I have looked at Barbie and have loved every detail about her. Her Gorgeous hair, eyes. The perfect body. She always has the cutest clothes and looks so great in them. She fills them out so well. Now as an adult, when I walk down the barbie aisle with my daughter, Barbie still catches my eye. Like when I was a child I admire her from head to toe. I think her hair has been every little girls favorite thing. I use to spend hours brushing her hair. Now, my daughter compares her self to barbie. She wants to be as pretty as barbie and have all the stylish clothes like her. And of course marrying the perfect man KEN! So now my daugher and have to find the barbie wedding dress and Ken a nice tux.

Skinny Models Out, Plus-Size In?
Whitney Thompson's 'Top Model' Win Could Usher in a New Era

Whitney Thompson, a size 10, is the first plus-size model to win "America's Next Top Model."

More PhotosThat's what some are wondering after Whitney Thompson became the first plus-size model to win "America's Next Top Model" last week.

Thompson, 20, is a size 10. She's not at all fat by conventional standards; she's slimmer than the 34 percent of Americans older than 20 who are obese. But compared with the impossibly thin models dominating runways around the world, she's big, and she's considered plus-size in the modeling industry. She's heard that her entire career.

"I've stood there in the middle of an agency with everyone pointing at me and saying 'four more inches off the hips would be great,'" Thompson said. "I don't recommend any girl putting herself through that, but I did and I stand here unchanged, physically.

"Right before I left to do the first episode in L.A., I was with one of my best friends and she said, 'You're fat. You are not going to make it in this competition,'" she continued. "So every week that I made it, I was like, 'Ha!' Obviously, we're not friends anymore."
