Finding plus size swimsuits and plus size swimwear can be difficult, especially if you are looking in local stores. I hate trying on clothes in changing rooms and much prefer to browse online and then choose something which I like. I try it on at home and it is easy enough to return the item if it's not exactly what I want.

There are different types of swimwear, onepiece, tankini, shortini, skirtini and swimdress. All these are flattering to the curvy figure. I like to buy mix and match swimwear for vacations, and I always throw a few coordinating cover ups in too, like some sarongs or tunics. There is no way I would wander down the beach without covering up my tummy and thighs. I want to look good not feel self conscious about my size.
